Numerous times you may get back on foot and think of giving up in life. But before giving up, take a break and think about the hard work you have put in till now. You can remind yourself what is essential is to keep going. Let’s see how we can solve this mystery of dead-end ….

Here are the mini-plans:

1) Make goals: be it mini or even micro mini

Most of us have a general tendency of making huge or unrealistic goals. This is when most of us fail, right at the planning stage. You can divide your plans according to the time in hand and your lifestyle. At first, set up small goals within a set time frame. Unexpected things always come up. But that’s ok. When life throws lemons at you, make sure you make a lemonade out of it and not just drink it but share it with others so that it will give you the energy to stay determined. When you don’t do this, you can feel demotivated. Feeling demotivated also feeds the feeling of a dead-end. Therefore, do not let that stage come.

2) Be consistent

You do not build an empire in a day. It’s a long process and you must learn to enjoy that process. Short delays or setbacks are all part of the journey but all of that said what is important is to keep going, is to be consistent without thinking about the result too much or without thinking about where the journey will lead you. Make sure you are taking steps to get ahead every day.

3) Be firm

Sometimes, you lose focus or give up, reasons may be many and any. Personal reasons like heartbreaks, unsupportive families and uncertainties (financial or medical) tend to distract your focus. Remind yourself, “why I was doing this thing” and “how important it is for me”. During this time, the most important is the kind of people you talk to you. Interact with positive and motivated folks.

4) Trust your efforts

Trust your hard work. It always pays off, in some form or the other. When you know that you have been working really hard, you don’t think of any result as a bad or good result. Always remember, some people are unhappy with a 90% success rate and some people are happy with a 70% success rate too. What is important is not to feel the regret that you could have done better and you didn’t put your 100%.

Remember these when you feel you are at a Dead End:

1) Mistakes are normal

The brightest of people I have seen are always scared of mistakes. Me too, at a time, was scared of making mistakes. People enjoy the process of working when they are working for a particular goal. I am no exception. But I have now realized the importance of liking what you do and not forcing yourself to do something you don’t want to do. I have learnt the biggest lesson of my life. To learn from my mistakes. I learnt that I should do what I want to do or feel like doing.

2)Find answers within yourself

Whenever you make a mistake, the best person to answer and show your mistake is you. Be true to yourself and find out where you went wrong. The biggest thing is self-analysis.

3)  End is when you stop trying, not when you fail

Never feel rejected or feel upset just because you couldn’t reach the target or didn’t succeed. What is important is to try again. Take a break, realize and make plans for further action and start afresh. When your computer breaks down, you repair them and not throw them. This goes for life as well. When you feel low or you feel you are failing or failed, take a break, refresh yourself and start your work again. And try until you feel you feel you have given justice to your work or life. Have satisfaction towards whatever you want.

4) Bounce back

There is always a connecting road to the last road. Learn to see the so-called dead end as a break to start the journey from a new road because you cannot keep on travelling, without a break. You may have seen roads crossing each other or the circle where roads meet as you call them a chowk. Each traveller on the road can only see the roads which they are travelling on. But when they reach their road end, they see other roads where they can travel to reach their destination. The same is with life, you feel sometimes that it’s the end, but that end mostly leads you to a new and beautiful destination. So bouncing back is important because you may miss the new and beautiful journey ahead of you.

To sum up

“Dead End” is a word that scares you more than anything. But it is nothing but a mirror or a glass wall,   created by society and sometimes very much by ourselves. We ought to think that we should be thinking about the dead ends or should we be more focused on finding or probably creating a new start or road, where we may end up being an inspiration to many new people to whom we may inspire to start a new road by the end road.
