About Us

Aarth intends to remove the stigma and inculcate awareness about mental health.

About Us

Mental Health Awareness

We all are living, but what makes us alive is not limited to our biological selves. Having physical discomforts, internal (coughs, body aches, fever) or external (injury, burns, lesions) can have known symptoms and cures. However, mental discomforts are often prejudiced, misinterpreted and mistreated. These mental or psychological discomforts stem from the factors that impact our mental well-being. Aarth intends to remove the stigma and inculcate awareness about mental health. It is aimed at helping you build a sustainable spiritual life. Aarth believes that the most critical factor impacting mental well-being is the lack of awareness. Increased awareness of mental health can empower you to take control of it. It also helps us realise that mental well-being is as important as physical well-being.

Aarth a life is a passion project on mental health awareness, empowerment and enhancement. We connect you through engagement, where we understand your issues, or help you know them. Through engagement, we spread awareness and make you empowered to take charge of your mental self. At Aarth, we believe that the mental well-being of an individual helps build a mentally empowered society. Stress and mental discomforts can be contagious to your family. Similarly, mental well-being too can spread and make a happy household, society, community, workplace, country and so on. Thus, by adding life to everyday living, we aim to build a mentally empowered society. We spread thoughts like:

Being comfortable in yourself.

It’s a failure only because you believe it is.

Life is grey and thoughts are shades of grey.

You should be allowed to feel sad.

Judges are for the judiciary, not for life decisions.

Meet Our Founder

Adv. Mona D Vyas

Being born and brought up in conservative business Marwadi family, Mona had limited choices. The reason behind this was her being a girl. Marriage was the only important thing on her cards. Hence her options were limited, and resources were restricted.

Mona says “There are advantages and disadvantages of being raised in this kind of family. But the biggest disadvantage that I faced, and still I guess, I get conscious of is that I started depending on approvals from others. I became shy and lost my self-confidence. I realized at a very later stage in my life that I am suffering through depression and anxiety, or I need help”.

Mona believed that all the people in a similar kind of situation are shy and suffering through depression and anxiety. Probably they don’t even understand and recognizes whether they have or are going through some tough situation in their mind and considered this just as another lousy mood or bad day, which made her go deep into this subject and understand it better and finally in 2018, she founded Aarth, intending to work in this field which is stigmatized or looked down upon.

She also states that her sole objective with her team is to try and help people with mental health and help them to bring their life back on track with life coaching programs and built the gap between the two and also to help people to understand themselves better and stop shamming themselves and others who are or going through the similar situation.

Today she is handling her family business as well as Practising Advocate at high court Bombay, so she believes and states that “however difficult the situation seems it is possible to bring change in life but only courage to accept and then change is the one thing that is required.”
